Support the delivery of essential government infrastructure projects across Far North Queensland while developing your leadership and project delivery experience.Our client is seeking an experienced OO6/1 Supervisor to join their team, delivering a diverse portfolio of construction, maintenance and upgrade projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a trade-qualified or construction industry professional looking to combine project coordination, supervision and stakeholder engagement in a rewarding government environment.
Your new role
As the OO6/1 Supervisor, you will assist in the planning, coordination and delivery of building and maintenance projects while ensuring quality outcomes, client satisfaction and value for money. Working closely with project teams, contractors and clients, you will play a key role in supervising works, preparing estimates and maintaining high workplace health and safety standards.
What you'll need to succeed
- Current Workplace Health & Safety General Safety Induction (White Card).
- Demonstrated experience within the construction, maintenance or building industry.
- Strong understanding of building projects and project life cycles.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and guidelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer and administrative skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Construction industry trade qualification is highly regarded but not essential.
