Westvic Staffing Solutions, in partnership with McGlynn Scott Building Contractors, in Colac, have an opportunity available for a motivated and enthusiastic 1st Year Carpentry Apprentice to join their team.
McGlynn Scott Building Contractors specialise in building beautiful new homes and high-end renovations, providing the successful applicant with the opportunity to learn from an experienced team while developing valuable carpentry skills.
General Tasks Include:
- Assisting experienced carpenters on-site
- Working on new home builds and high-end renovations
- Learning and developing carpentry skills
- Following directions and instructions from experienced team members
- Working safely and effectively as part of a team
- Undertaking a Carpentry Apprenticeship
The successful applicant will:
- Demonstrate a keen interest in carpentry and the building industry
- Have a great attitude and strong work ethic
- Be keen to learn and develop new skills
- Take direction and instructions well
- Work well as part of a team
- Be reliable and take pride in their work
- Be motivated to learn on the job and develop a career in carpentry
