30m M/Y – Captain – Full Time – Private – Whitsundays
- Seeking a professional and experienced Captain for a 30m yacht.
- Responsible for vessel management, safety standards, and crew leadership.
- Position based in Airlie Beach with full-time employment.
YACHT INFORMATION:
A lovely 30m yacht is looking for a professional and experienced permanent Captain to step onboard and undertake running of this vessel. As the vessel runs with only a Captain/Interior – the Captain needs to be hands on, mature and reliable. Additional crew are hired for guest trips.
The vessel will be based permanently in Airlie Beach, and the position requires a candidate who has ties to the region/accommodation off the vessel.
The vessel also has supplementary vessels in the fleet (smaller boats -12m, jet ski’s etc) that are used regularly.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong management skills (responsible for voyage planning, log books, vessel maintenance, turn key conditions, preventative maintenance, contractors etc)
- Ability to lead other marine crew and upholding the highest safety standards
- 5 years experience as minimum as Captain of vessels 24m+
- Local knowledge required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- STCW and Seafarers Medical
- AMSA Master 4
- MED 3 or Higher.
ITINERARY
Home Base in Airlie Beach, year round.
