This isn't your typical cyber security role.
We're exclusively partnering with a specialist cyber engineering team working on highly technical capabilities supporting national security outcomes.
Sitting at the intersection of vulnerability research and software engineering, you'll work across Android/Linux platforms, taking security research and proof-of-concept techniques and turning them into robust, shippable capabilities.
What you'll bring
- Strong software engineering skills, ideally C/C++, Java or Kotlin
- Deep Android and/or Linux knowledge
- Vulnerability research, reverse engineering or exploit development experience
- Exposure to Ghidra, IDA, Frida, ADB or similar tooling
- Understanding of OS internals, memory management and platform security
- Ideally Defence, intelligence or national security experience
Depending on your strengths, you could lean towards finding and developing new access vectors or productising vulnerability research into operational capabilities.
This is an opportunity to work on security problems and technology you simply won't encounter in most commercial cyber roles.
Australian citizenship required. Security clearance highly regarded but not essential.
Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne or Brisbane preferred, with flexibility for exceptional candidates elsewhere in Australia.
