Accountant (Part-Time 30 Hours Per Week)

Our client is a well established South Australian commercial fit-out and construction business with a strong reputation for delivering high quality projects across a diverse client base.
An opportunity now exists for an experienced Accountant to join the team in a flexible part-time capacity (30 hours per week). Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of the finance function while providing valuable financial reporting and commercial support to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Cash flow forecasting and working capital management
- Management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable oversight
- Payroll processing and administration
- BAS preparation and statutory compliance
- Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
- Liaison with external accountants and auditors
- Project costing and profitability reporting
- Insurance, licences, and corporate compliance administration
About You
- Previous experience in an Accountant, Company Accountant, or similar role
- Strong financial reporting and accounting knowledge
- Experience with payroll, BAS, and compliance requirements
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work autonomously and partner with stakeholders across the business
- Experience with Xero will be highly regarded
