Your new role

  • Lead management accounting activities, including monthly reporting, forecasting, and budget analysis
  • Manage cash flow, reconciliations, investments, and financial performance reporting
  • Coordinate grant funding, compliance requirements, and expenditure monitoring
  • Oversee month-end processes, statutory reporting, and financial reconciliations
  • Assist with annual budgets, audits, and financial statement preparation
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and support business decision-making

What you'll need to succeed

  • Relevant qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or a related discipline
  • Previous experience in financial management, reporting, and budgeting
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate outcomes
  • Experience within local government or the public sector is advantageous but not essential
  • Current Australian driving licence
