Your new role
- Prepare tax returns, financial statements, BAS, and supporting work papers for a range of clients
- Assist with tax planning, trust resolutions, and taxation compliance matters
- Work with individual, company, partnership, and trust clients
- Liaise with clients, the ATO, and internal stakeholders on accounting and taxation matters
- Assist with audits, superannuation administration, and client enquiries
- Support junior team members and continue developing your technical accounting knowledge
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree qualified or currently completing a degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline
- 25 years' experience within public practice accounting
- Experience preparing tax returns, BAS, and financial statements
- Knowledge of taxation legislation and accounting standards
- Experience using Xero, Handisoft, and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- A genuine desire to continue developing your accounting career
