Administrator/Weighbridge

Casual Opportunity | $36.81 per hour

Programmed Skilled Workforce is currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Administrator/Weighbridge to join our team.

While this role has a strong administrative focus, the successful candidate will also be required to assist with general site operations and outdoor activities as required. This position suits someone who is adaptable, enjoys a variety of tasks, and is willing to support the broader site team in both office and operational environments.

GrainFlow operates a network of grain storage facilities across Australia, supporting the efficient receival, storage and outturn of bulk grains and oilseeds.

About the Role

  • Reporting to the Site Manager, your duties may include:
  • Operating the site weighbridge and accurately recording vehicle and grain information
  • Completing general site administration and data-entry tasks
  • Assisting with stock control and maintaining accurate site records
  • Sampling and testing grain to determine quality and classification
  • Operating automated grain sampling and testing equipment
  • Undertaking manual grain probing when required, including during equipment breakdowns
  • Conducting grain quality testing using specialised sampling and testing equipment
  • Assisting with general site operations and supporting the wider site team
  • Performing designated First Aid duties where required
  • Following all site safety procedures, work instructions and operational requirements

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

  • Previous experience in administration, weighbridge operations, grain handling, agriculture, logistics or a similar operational environment
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately enter and maintain records
  • Sound computer and administrative skills
  • The ability to understand detailed instructions and follow established procedures
  • Strong communication and customer service skills when interacting with truck drivers, growers and site personnel
  • A proactive and safety-focused approach to work
  • The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
  • A willingness to undertake industry-specific training and learn grain sampling and classification processes
  • The physical capability to complete repetitive manual-handling tasks and other operational duties
  • The ability to work safely in a fast-paced outdoor environment and in varying weather conditions
