Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Ag Equipment Technician | Regional NSW

A progressive Ag Equipment Dealership with a 60-year track record across Regional NSW is seeking trade-qualified mechanics to join their team. Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostics and repairs on agricultural, plant, and turf equipment.
- Support Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products and conduct machine optimization for clients.
- Mentor and train Apprentice Service Technicians.
- Conduct diagnostics and repair work both in-shop and out in the field.
- Maintain equipment, inventory, specialized tools, and safety standards.
- Complete detailed service reports, job cards, and repair documentation.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Location: Must currently reside in Australia with valid Australian work rights (Onshore candidates only).
- Experience: 3–5+ years post-qualification experience working as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Ag Technician, or Plant Mechanic.
- Qualifications: Trade Certificate / Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, Automotive (Heavy Vehicle), or equivalent.
- Brand Experience: Previous hands-on experience with major brands like John Deere, New Holland, Case IH, Massey Ferguson, Kubota, Claas, Deutz-Fahr, Fendt, Mahindra, or Iseki is highly regarded.
- Technical Skills: Strong diagnostic capabilities in advanced mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Certifications: Valid Australian Driver’s License (Forklift license and CDL/HR preferred).
- Master-Level Service Technician certification is advantageous.
