Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Mechanic Supervisor

Our client is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic Supervisor to join their team based in Wangara. This well-established Perth-based business delivers high-quality HVAC and refrigeration services across commercial, industrial and residential projects, with a strong focus on safety, workmanship and team culture.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a company vehicle, on-site parking and a close-knit team environment. This role suits a trade-qualified HVAC professional with strong technical experience who is ready to step into a leadership position while remaining hands-on.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supervising technicians and apprentices across multiple sites
- Installation, servicing and fault-finding on HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Diagnosing and repairing system components including compressors, motors and condensers
- Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
- Testing, commissioning, leak testing and refrigerant handling
- Liaising with customers, builders and project managers
- Ensuring WHS compliance and quality workmanship
- Completing service reports and job documentation
- Supporting apprentice training and development
What you’ll need:
- Trade qualified Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic
- Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Experience with ducted, split system and VRV/VRF systems
- Previous supervisory experience
- Manual Driver’s Licence and White Card
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Strong WHS knowledge and safety focus
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities
