About the role

This varied and interesting position will have a focus on:

  • Supporting positive behavioural change in clients through the delivery of therapeutic counselling interventions.
  • Implementing and supporting integrated treatment and care pathways for complex clients within alcohol and drug treatment services.

Skills & Experience 

  • Minimum Diploma in Alcohol and other Drugs required.  Undergraduate and postgraduate human services qualification and registration with a relevant peak body is desirable
  • Demonstrated high level knowledge, skills and experience in the delivery of evidence-based counselling interventions, strengths based and person-centred models of care, comprehensive assessment and treatment planning.
