We are seeking an Allied Health Assistant (Gap Year) to work in a full time fixed term for 12 months (80 hours/fortnight) capacity based at Nhill.

RENUMERATION:

  • Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2025-2027.
  • Estimated Annual Salary: IN28 - Allied Health Assistant Grade 1, $59,282.704 per year.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • To provide high-quality support to our Allied Health Professionals, including clinical care and administrative duties.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential:

  • Effective communication and organisational skills.
  • An understanding of the unique nature of rural communities and a commitment to improving the overall health and well-being of these communities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a valuable member of a team.
  • Time management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to principles of Quality Assurance, Equal Employment Opportunity and Occupational Health & Safety.
  • Confidence in a pool environment isrequired.
  • Competence in using computer programs including Microsoft Word, Outlook and other databases.

Qualification:

  • Qualifications are not mandatory for this position. There is an opportunity to complete Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance if the successful candidate wishes (not mandatory).

PRE-REQUISITES:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Fully vaccinated (including influenza) as per current Department of Health Directives.
  • Australian Driver’s Licence.
