About the Role
As a Maintenance Support Officer, you will provide frontline customer service and administrative support, ensuring enquiries and maintenance requests are managed professionally and efficiently.
Working within a high-volume call centre environment, you'll assist customers over the phone and via email, accurately record information, and contribute to the delivery of responsive maintenance services.
Your duties will include:
- Arranging responsive maintenance for Government owned properties
- Answering or making customer calls to address their maintenance needs
- Raising work orders
- Liaising with various trades and stakeholders for a variety of property maintenance needs
- Maintaining accurate customer records
- Data entry and detailed note taking
- Providing administration support as needed
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Experience in a high-volume customer service environment, previous experience in a call centre environment is highly regarded
- Experience within construction, insurance repairs or property maintenance knowledge is advantageous
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Experience across Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
- Problem-solving, negotiation and de-escalation skills
- Exceptional customer service, active listening and verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and decision-making ability
