An exciting opportunity is available for multiple APS4 professionals to join a high-performing grants team within the Federal Government supporting the delivery of important funding programs across Australia. These roles offer the chance to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the assessment, administration and execution of grant funding while delivering quality outcomes for providers.
Your new role
You will be experienced grants and customer-focused professionals to undertake a range of grant assessment and grant execution activities. Depending on your placement within the team, your responsibilities may include:
Assessing grant applications against established guidelines and program requirements
Preparing and issuing grant agreements, variations and related documentation
Managing a personal caseload in a high-volume environment
Liaising with providers via phone and email to support assessment and agreement processes
Providing accurate advice on program requirements, obligations and processes
Monitoring outstanding actions and following up providers to support timely outcomes
Identifying issues, risks and inconsistencies and escalating where appropriate
Maintaining accurate records and documentation to support compliance, audit and quality assurance requirements
Contributing to consistent, accurate and provider-focused service delivery
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will be highly organised, detail-oriented and able to work effectively within established frameworks and procedures. You will demonstrate:
Experience managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines in a high-volume environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
The ability to interpret and apply policies, guidelines and procedures consistently
Sound judgement and the ability to identify risks and seek guidance when required
A proactive approach to managing workloads and progressing work to completion
A willingness to learn, adapt and apply feedback
Experience in grants administration, contract administration, program delivery, compliance or regulatory environments will be highly regarded, although not essential.
To be considered for this role, you will need to be an Australian citizen and hold a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
