Key Duties and Responsibilities
▪ Assist in determining, implementing and monitoring budgetary and accounting strategies, policies and plans in consultation with senior management.
▪ Provide financial information and analysis to support business performance evaluation and funding decisions.
▪ Assist in coordinating the development, implementation and monitoring of accounting systems and internal controls.
▪ Prepare financial reports for funds under management, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
▪ Support the assessment of capital finance proposals and the financial status of operational projects.
▪ Assist in advising on investment strategies, sources of funds and distribution of earnings.
▪ Contribute to long-range profit forecasts, budgeting processes and regular financial reporting.
▪ Ensure compliance with Australian taxation laws, financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
Skills and QualificationsTo be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
Qualifications: An Australian bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field .
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a financial or accounting role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
Knowledge: Good understanding of Australian taxation, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements, with a willingness to develop further.
Language: Proficiency in English is essential. Capacity in mandarin is an advantage.
