We are seeking dedicated and reliable Gym Attendant to join our team supporting the Australian Defence Force through our ESS business. In this front-line role, you’ll be the welcoming face of the gym ensuring a safe, professional, and engaging environment for Defence personnel. You’ll manage daily reception duties, conduct fitness inductions, and help maintain the facility to the highest standards.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Greet and assist gym users, providing exceptional customer service and support
- Conduct fitness centre inductions and maintain accurate user records
- Oversee daily operations, including equipment checks and general maintenance reporting
- Ensure compliance with all safety and hygiene procedures
- Support the coordination of fitness activities, programs, and events
- Contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming facility environment
- Report hazards, near misses, or maintenance issues promptly and constructively
What we’re looking for:
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Certificate III or IV in Fitness (highly desirable)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable, professional, and proactive approach to customer service
- Experience in gym or recreation facility operations highly regarded
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and team collaboration
- Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance
- Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement (Defence security clearance required)
