We are seeking an experienced Benefits Realisation Specialist to lead the development, measurement and optimisation of benefits frameworks across complex programs and portfolios. This role will suit a strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities who can translate complex data into meaningful insights and influence decision-making at senior levels.
Your new role
As the Benefits Realisation Specialist, you will be responsible for leading benefits management and economic evaluation activities across a range of transformative initiatives. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure investment decisions are supported by robust evidence, measurable outcomes and clearly defined value realisation strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading benefits management and benefits realisation activities across complex programs and projects.
- Conducting economic, behavioural and qualitative analyses to evaluate outcomes and demonstrate value.
- Designing and delivering cost-benefit, cost-effectiveness, ROI and multi-criteria analyses.
- Developing and enhancing benefits frameworks, methodologies, reporting standards and evaluation tools.
- Establishing meaningful performance measures, indicators and reporting approaches.
- Providing assurance and quality review of benefits assumptions, methodologies and evidence.
- Preparing executive briefings, governance papers, business cases and strategic reports.
- Supporting stakeholders to identify, measure and report on benefits and outcomes.
- Championing a benefits-led approach to planning, governance and decision-making.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will bring:
- Demonstrated expertise in benefits management, benefits realisation and economic evaluation.
- Strong experience applying methodologies such as cost-benefit analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis and qualitative benefits assessments.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to synthesise complex information into practical recommendations.
- Experience developing performance, evaluation or measurement frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Strong written communication skills with experience preparing executive-level reports and presentations.
- The ability to operate autonomously while providing leadership and expert advice within complex environments.
Desirable experience
- Experience within health, digital transformation, public sector, policy, research, evaluation or related environments.
