BOILERMAKER
- Perform structural steel fabrication tasks
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Utilise various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
Protech are looking for experienced Qualified Boilermakers to perform work with our client, located in Perth Airport on a local ongoing basis.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- ASAP start
- Monday – Friday, 6am -2pm with some overtime available
- Long term oppotunity
- $50 per hour plus penalties
- Based near Perth Airport
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Structural steel fabrication
- Read and interpret drawings
- Cutting, shaping and fitting steel plate and pipe
- Experience with MIG, TIG and Stick welding
- Installing brackets, handrails, platforms, etc
- Using hand and power tools
- Manual labour and lifting
TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Construction white card
- Australian/ NZ recongised trade certificate mandatory
- Reliable car and driver’s licence
