We are seeking two qualified bricklayers for our prestigious projects in Sydney and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

·Handle and prepare bricklaying, block laying, and stone materials, mix cement, and cart bricks.

·Analyse plans and specifications to ensure the correct material and quantity is available for the project.

·Measure required dimensions and apply basic levelling procedures.

·Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to construct residential walls, partitions and different style and shape structures.

· Cut, shape, trim and accurately size bricks and other masonry materials to meet specific construction requirements, using a range of hand and power tools while ensuring precise measurements, clean finishes and minimal material wastage.

·Check and measure the alignment of bricks.

·Restore, repair and clean existing brick structures.

·Design shapes and spread mortar between joints.

· Setting and securing masonry blocks in mortar to ensure proper alignment and stability, while removing excess mortar to achieve a clean and professional finish.

·Constructing, restoring and maintaining walls and associated masonry structures by accurately laying and securing stone slabs, bricks, concrete blocks and other large masonry materials to ensure structural integrity, durability and a quality finish.

·Aligns and lay levelled bricks in horizontal and vertical lines.

·Plan daily bricklaying activities in consultation with the foreman, ensuring work is completed to the highest standard.

·Set up scaffolding safely and dismantle when work is completed.

·Assist in setting up and packing up project sites.

·Use and lay of insulated material to seal foundations.

·Experience in use trowels and other manual and power tools to lay mortars and shape up the bricks and blocks

·Help the site manager with company WHS system implementation and compliance.

Skills Required: To be eligible for the above position, the candidate should have at least related Certificate III, or Certificate IV. Three years of relevant experience may substitute the above qualifications.

Remuneration: The appropriate candidate will be paid $85,000 annually plus superannuation.

Experience: At least 1 year of full time related experience

Employment Entitlements: Employment entitlements will be as per National Employment Standards and as per Fair work Instruments prescribed by the Australian Government
