REVIT Draftsperson - HVAC (Workshop Drawings)
Brisbane | Teir 1 Mechanical Contractor | Secure Pipeline of Work
We enjoy partnering with this business because they consistently deliver - on projects and on culture. This is a well-established, family-oriented mechanical contractor with a strong reputation across the Queensland market. Their project book is healthy, varied, and growing, and they're now looking to strengthen their drafting capability in Brisbane.
If you're solid in REVIT and genuinely understand ductwork workshop drawings (not just pretty models), keep reading.
The Role
You'll join a tight-knit drafting team supporting experienced Project Managers and Engineers across a range of commercial HVAC projects.
This is a hands-on workshop drawing role. The expectation is that you can:
- Produce detailed REVIT workshop drawings for ductwork
- Develop coordinated plantroom layouts
- Manage clash detection and resolve coordination issues
- Liaise with site teams to ensure drawings are buildable and practical
- Work both autonomously and collaboratively within a structured delivery team
You'll report into a capable and supportive manager who understands drafting - not someone learning it off you. There are clear systems, strong internal support, and genuine career pathways if you want them.
Promotion opportunities are realistic over the next 18-24 months for those who perform.
What's On Offer
- Stable Brisbane-based role with a national teir 1 contractor
- Diverse commercial HVAC projects
- Supportive, family-oriented culture
- Structured training and development
- Long-term career progression (or stability if that's your preference)
- Competitive remuneration aligned to experience
They value loyalty and performance - and they reward it.
Selection Criteria
To be considered, you must:
- Have at least 12 months' experience using REVIT in an HVAC environment
- Have previously completed workshop drawings in REVIT for ductwork (non-negotiable)
- Be experienced in plantroom layouts, duct routing, coordination and clash detection
- Understand buildability - not just modelling
- Be capable of coordinating projects independently when required
- Can provide examples of work you have previously completed
This role will suit either:
- A driven draftsperson looking to accelerate their career through structured development, or
- A technically strong operator who prefers to remain hands-on without moving into management
Applicants must have full Australian working rights. Overseas applicants without a permanent visa will not be considered.
