We are seeking a motivated and technically competent Building Associate to support our project delivery team. In this role, you will work closely with Construction Managers and site supervisors to ensure projects run smoothly, safely, and in full compliance with building codes and quality standards. You will be the essential link between planning and execution—coordinating resources, interpreting drawings, and monitoring site progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Support & Coordination: Assist in supervising daily site activities, coordinating trade disciplines, and ensuring workflows are executed efficiently.
- Resource Coordination: Organise and coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials, plant, and equipment to maintain project timelines and budget targets.
- Planning & Interpretation: Read and interpret construction plans, regulations, and codes of practice, and support Construction Managers in project scheduling and resource planning.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure strict adherence to specifications, regulatory requirements, and company quality standards.
- Progress Monitoring: Track construction progress against schedules and budgets, and prepare regular reports for senior management on project status, costs, and variations.
- Health, Safety & Environment: Enforce workplace health, safety, and environmental policies on site, ensuring all personnel comply with legislative and company requirements.
