Your opportunity to join our team
As a Business Development Manager within the Inghams Foodservice portfolio, you will be responsible for driving growth across this network in South Australia and Northern Territory whilst servicing and maintaining existing relationships.
You’ll service national accounts, attend trade shows, drive promotional planning and price negotiations.
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with an office based at Inghams Primary Processing Site at Burton.
Inghams will offer a competitive salary package, including a fully maintained company car.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain existing, and identify new business opportunities, developing strong relationships with key contacts across the SA & NT Foodservice distributor base.
- Manage internal and external resources to deliver business opportunities within agreed timelines and budget expectations.
- Plan and support the implementation of business activities consistent with the proposed strategy and Customer Proposition.
- Introduce and support new products to new and existing customers.
- Execute national and state based promotional cycles and tactical sales plans within your portfolio.
- Conduct customer business reviews to develop and implement growth strategies, sales targets and monitor business performance.
What you’ll bring:
- Previous Account Management / Business Development experience is essential, ideally in FMCG/ Foodservice along with demonstrable experience working with distributors
- Ability to analyse data and use results to drive business growth
- Ability to create and maintain positive relationships in a fast-paced environment heavily reliant on cross-functional collaboration
- Confident in running multiple projects and working in a rapid paced, high-output environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present business reviews both internally and to key customers
- Ability to understand a P&L and use data to make informed, commercially targeted decisions
- Tertiary qualification in Business of similar degree is desirable
