The business is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Business Machine Mechanic to undertake the testing, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of coffee machines and related equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Examining and testing coffee machines, equipment and associated control systems to identify and diagnose faults.
- Diagnosing electrical, electronic and mechanical faults in machines and related equipment.
- Adjusting, repairing and replacing worn or defective components, parts and wiring.
- Disassembling equipment as required to inspect, repair or replace defective components.
- Reassembling, test operating and adjusting equipment following repairs and maintenance.
- Installing, testing and adjusting electrical and electronic components and control systems associated with coffee machines.
- Carrying out routine and preventative maintenance on machines and related equipment.
- Applying electrical, electronic and mechanical principles when diagnosing, repairing and maintaining equipment.
- Testing repaired equipment to confirm correct operation.
- Advising customers on correct equipment operating procedures to help prevent malfunctions.
- Cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment and work areas.
About You
- At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Business Machine Mechanic or in a closely related technical role.
- Sound knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.
- Experience in diagnosing faults and repairing machines and equipment.
- Ability to disassemble, repair, reassemble, test and adjust equipment.
- Strong technical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use appropriate testing instruments and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Salary: AUD $79,000 – $100,000 per annum
