The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated full-time Cabinetmaker to join our team. The Cabinetmaker is responsible for manufacturing, assembling, installing and repairing cabinets, furniture and other timber-based fittings in accordance with plans, specifications and customer requirements.
The duties are as follows, but not limited to:
- Reading and interpreting drawings, plans and specifications.
- Measuring, marking and cutting timber, laminate, MDF and other materials.
- Operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and accurately.
- Manufacturing and assembling cabinets, cupboards, wardrobes, shelving and other fitted furniture.
- Installing cabinets and joinery at residential and commercial sites.
- Fitting hinges, handles, drawer runners and other cabinet hardware.
- Checking measurements, alignment and finishes to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Sanding, finishing and preparing surfaces as required.
- Repairing or modifying existing cabinetry and furniture.
- Maintaining tools, machinery and a clean and safe work area.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures.
- Working independently and as part of a team to complete projects within required timeframes.
What we are looking for
- At least a Certificate III in cabinetmaking is preferable
- At least 1 year of strong cabinetmaking and joinery knowledge with hands-on experience
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Experience operating tools, machinery, and construction equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Full-time employment with a minimum of 38 hours per week
