Your new companyThis well-established joinery business specialises in high-end commercial joinery and office fitout projects across Sydney. With a strong project pipeline and a reputation for delivering bespoke joinery packages for commercial offices, corporate workplaces and fitout contractors, they continue to invest in their people, facilities and future growth.Due to an increase in secured work, they are looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker / Joiner to join their workshop team on a permanent basis.
Your new roleWorking within a modern and well-equipped workshop, you'll be responsible for manufacturing custom joinery and commercial fitout components, with a strong focus on laminating work and detailed finishes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manufacturing commercial joinery and office furniture
- Laminate application and detailed bench work
- Reading and interpreting workshop drawings
- Assembly of custom joinery components
- Operating workshop machinery and hand tools
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
- Working closely with the production team to deliver multiple projects
What you'll need to succeed
- Trade qualification in Cabinet Making or Joinery (preferred)
- Strong experience with laminate finishes and laminated joinery products
- Experience manufacturing commercial joinery or office furniture
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and workshop experience
- Reliable, team-focused attitude
- Commitment to producing high-quality work
