Enjoy a three-day working week with an established cardiology provider! Healthcare Professionals Group is recruiting an experienced Cardiac Technician / ECG Technician to support cardiac diagnostic services across Sydney.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Cardiac Technician who enjoys working in a patient-focused clinical environment, collaborating with healthcare professionals and delivering high-quality cardiac ultrasound services.
The Opportunity
- Part-time position working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
- Part-time employment
- Casual employment may also be considered
- Immediate commencement available
- Work across established cardiology practices with an experienced clinical team
- Variety and flexibility across multiple Sydney locations
Locations and Roster You will work alongside other ECG Technicians and rotate between clinics according to operational requirements.
- Tuesday: Inner West and North Shore
- Wednesday: Inner West
- Thursday: Innerwest and North Shore
- Occassional coverage to Northern Beaches when colleague is on leave
The successful applicant must be comfortable travelling between clinic locations as required.
About the Role
You will support the delivery of cardiac diagnostic services and assist the wider cardiology team in providing a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities may include:
- Performing 12-lead ECG recordings
- Assisting with cardiac diagnostic procedures within your competency and training
- Preparing patients for cardiac investigations
- Ensuring accurate patient identification and clinical documentation
- Maintaining diagnostic equipment and clinical areas
- Working collaboratively with Cardiac Physiologists, Cardiologists and other clinical staff
- Delivering professional, compassionate and patient-centred care
About You
We would love to hear from candidates who have:
- Previous experience as a Cardiac Technician, ECG Technician or in a relevant cardiac diagnostics role
- Confidence performing 12-lead ECGs
- Good communication and patient-care skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A collaborative and flexible approach to working within a clinical team
- Availability to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
- Willingness and ability to travel between the nominated clinic locations
