Carpenter
- Carry out structural and finishing carpentry across residential and commercial projects around Perth.
- Install timber flooring, staircases, frameworks, doors, fittings, cabinetry and joinery, and complete repairs and adjustments.
- Review plans, select and prepare materials, and use hand and power tools to deliver accurate, high-quality work.

We provide a wide range of construction solutions, including structural timber flooring, custom timber staircases, fixing and finishing carpentry, and cabinetry and joinery installation. We are searching for experienced carpenters to join our team in a full-time position. Based in Rossmoyne, you will be working at various project locations within the Perth region.
This position requires the applicant to be qualified in this trade and to have a minimum of one year of experience in the industry and a suitable qualification.
The job requires the applicant to be able to perform the following duties to a high standard:
- Review drawings and blueprints to determine which materials, measurements and installation methods to use.
- Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and other building materials using hand and power tools.
- Construct and install timber frameworks, floor structures, subfloors and other structural timber components, ensuring accuracy and alignment.
- Install solid hardwood, engineered timber and laminate flooring, including subfloor preparation and levelling.
- Construct and install timber staircases, including treads, risers, balustrades and handrails.
- Install doors, door and window frames, skirting boards, architraves and other timber fittings.
- Carry out first-fix and second-fix carpentry work, including the installation and adjustment of timber fixtures and finishing components.
- Assemble and install prefabricated timber structures, cabinets, shelving and other joinery components.
- Install fixtures and hardware such as door handles, locks, hinges, cabinet doors and drawers.
- Perform general carpentry repairs, adjustments and finishing work to ensure quality and compliance with building specifications.
Essential Criteria:
- Possess a relevant qualification in the trade.
- Have a minimum of one year of full-time equivalent experience in the industry.
- Hold a current driver's licence.
- If not an Australian citizen or permanent resident, hold a valid visa with work rights that permit full-time employment in Australia.
The salary is based on 38 hours per week at $80k to $85k per annum plus superannuation, depending on experience.
