We Will are a progressive and innovative health service and currently have a District Nursing opportunity for a Registered Nurse with an interest and/or experience in community nursing. With your skills and experience, you will deliver safe, reliable and responsive client-based care.

The District Nursing Team is a valuable part of the Community Services Team and is responsible for providing clinical nursing care to clients in the community setting, within the Alpine Shire.

The role contributes to multidisciplinary assessment, care planning, and treatment to ensure that the clinical needs are met for clients within their own home environment.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of three years acute clinical and community nursing experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Passion for Community Nursing.
  • Experience in Wound Management, CVAD's, Palliative care, Negative Pressure Wound Therapy, Stoma and Catheter care.
  • Ability to work independently and without direct supervision within an MDT environment.
  • Ability to problem solve and make decisions in a variety of complex situations.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Prepared to work weekends as required.
