What You’ll Be Doing

Depending on the site and assignment, your responsibilities may include:

• Providing professional customer service to clients, customers and visitors

• Monitoring access points and controlling entry to restricted areas

• Conducting internal and external patrols

• Monitoring CCTV and security systems where required

• Maintaining a visible security presence across banking and retail sites

• Identifying, responding to and reporting security incidents

• Managing challenging situations professionally and calmly

• Identifying hazards and reporting security risks

• Preparing accurate incident and security reports

• Following site-specific procedures and supporting client requirements

What We're Looking For

• Current QLD Security Licence – Mandatory

• Current First Aid – Mandatory

• Australian Citizen or holder of Unlimited Work Rights

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Professional presentation and a proactive approach

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to work rotating rosters, including days, nights and weekends

• Good computer skills and ability to use security-related systems

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Highly Desirable:

• Experience with CCTV and access control systems

• Previous experience in a security or customer-facing environment
