About The Service

KU Playford Park Children’s Centre is a community-focused long day care service nestled in the picturesque parklands of Padstow.

Operating Monday to Friday from 7am to 5:45pm, our service offers a wonderful work-life balance, with free onsite parking and convenient access to public transport – just a 10-minute walk from Padstow Train Station and a bus stop at the top of Davies Street.

The team provide a warm, inclusive environment for up to 43 children, aged 6 weeks to 5 years, we prioritise individual care and foster a family-oriented, supportive environment. 

Surrounded by the calming natural beauty of Playford Park, our large outdoor play area invites exploration, creativity, and learning. With a strong reputation in the local community for delivering exceptional education and care, we create a space where children can thrive.

About The Role

We have an opportunity for an educator with a completed Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification to join the team.

This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday (8 hours per day) on a rotating roster. You will accrue one rostered day off per month which means you will have over 6 weeks leave per annum!

About The Criteria

Along with relevant working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF) and a sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011), you will need:

  • An ACCEQA recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • A current and Valid NSW Working with Children Check
  • A National Child Safety Training Certificate
  • A completed training in Child Protection (CHCPRT025) and an understanding of the legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
  • Available to work full time; Monday to Friday (8 hours per day) on a rotating roster
