About the Role 

We’re looking for a passionate Educator, who shares our vision and values. Someone who believes in creating an environment where every child can grow, thrive, and feel included. You’ll be joining a welcoming, fun, and supportive team who genuinely enjoy working together, supporting one another, and celebrating the everyday moments that make early learning so special.  

At Mikarie, we are strongly committed to child safety and wellbeing, and we are looking for an Educator who understands their responsibility to maintain a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment every day for every child. 

As part of our team, you’ll enjoy ongoing professional learning and mentoring, including training in: 

  • Peg Feeding 
  • Epilepsy 
  • On-going child protection training  

About You 

You’re patient, calm, and friendly, a true team player with a nurturing instinct. You love supporting children to explore the world around them and building strong relationships with families. 

What you’ll bring to the team: 

  • A recognised Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Education degree  
  • A strong understanding of National Regulations, the EYLF, and the NQS, with the ability to apply these in everyday practice  
  • Excellent communication skills, allowing you to build positive relationships with children, families, and team members  
  • A genuine commitment to inclusion, supporting the individual needs and strengths of all children, including children with disabilities  
  • A demonstrated commitment to child safety and wellbeing, understanding your role in creating and maintaining a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment  
  • A current First Aid Certificate, including Anaphylaxis, Asthma and CPR (HLTAID012)  
  • The required Police Check, Working With Children Check, and pre‑employment medical, ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism
