Skillforce Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Carpenters and Formwork Carpenters to join one of our established clients delivering a variety of civil, structural and infrastructure projects throughout Perth.

We're looking for hands-on tradespeople who are confident working with structural components, concrete and formwork systems. Whether you're an experienced civil carpenter or a qualified chippy with a strong structural background looking to move into civil construction, we'd like to hear from you.

About the Role

Working alongside an experienced construction team, you'll be involved in a diverse range of civil and structural works, including:

• Constructing and installing formwork for concrete structures.
• Building footings, foundations, concrete pads, plinths, pits and walls.
• Measuring, setting out and interpreting construction drawings.
• Assisting with concrete pours, stripping and dismantling formwork.
• Installation and positioning of precast concrete and structural components.
• Assisting with lifting operations and the movement of construction materials.
• General civil construction and site duties as required.

About You To be successful, you'll ideally have:

• Trade qualification in Carpentry or demonstrated experience in civil formwork.
• Previous experience in civil construction, structural carpentry or concrete works.
• Ability to read plans, measure accurately and work independently.
• Construction White Card.
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

Highly Desirable:

• Dogging or Rigging High Risk Work Licence.
• Crane operating tickets.
• HR or other heavy vehicle licences.
• Experience working with precast concrete and structural installations.
• Working at Heights or EWP tickets.
