CIVIL DESIGN DRAFTER / CIVIL DRAFTSPERSON – ROAD PAVEMENTS AND AIRPORTS
- Provide technical drawing services to the engineering department
- Draft construction plans and perform earthworks volume balancing
- Utilise AutoCAD and other modelling software for civil design tasks
Our client provides engineering, design & construction services to Aviation industry and requires a civil drafter with experience with airport strip design or experience with road pavements / bitumen / civil design.
The position will be required to provide technical drawings services to the engineering department. The successful applicant will be working within a company experienced in all facets of airport design, construction and operation. REGULAR TASKS • Drafting of construction plans • Earthworks volume balancing and calculations • Provision of aircraft apron parking solutions • Drafting Obstacle Limitation Surface plans • Drafting line marking and lighting layout plans Software Experience
- AutoCAD drafting software
- 12D or AutoDesk Civil 3D earthworks modelling software
- AviPlan aircraft movement modelling software
- Other components of AutoDesk Infrastructure Design Suite
Essential Criteria: Preferably a Diploma in Drafting, Surveying, Engineering or related discipline, but not essential Remuneration Salary will be negotiable and circa starting 95k-120k + super + overtime dependent on experience for the right individual with all of the above experience.
