Position available
We are looking for a detail-oriented Civil Engineering Draftsperson (full-time) to join HONG YUAN CONSTRUCTIONS. You will prepare technical drawings, convert sketches into digital documents, and update plans based on project team feedback. If you share our commitment to quality and safety, we want to hear from you. Experience is preferred, but we will provide training for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Craftsmanship-Driven Drafting: Produce meticulous technical drawings and comprehensive plans for civil engineering projects, ensuring that all designs reflect HYCON SA’s founding passion for exceptional craftsmanship and dedication to quality.
- Design & Build Digital Conversion: Utilize advanced computer-aided design (CAD) software to translate conceptual civil engineering sketches into precise digital documentation, thereby supporting the firm's integrated design-and-build processes.
- Site & Topographical Analysis: Develop detailed topographical and relief maps for locations hosting new civil development projects, ensuring accurate site analysis for the firm's upcoming builds.
- Compliance & Design Revisions: Incorporate design changes, updates, and necessary modifications into existing drawings based on feedback from engineers and architects, ensuring all final plans meet HYCON SA’s rigorous quality standards and comply with the requirements of QBE and SURA construction insurance.
Requirements:
- At least three years of full-time (38 hours per week) experience as a Civil Engineering Draftsperson
- Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents are encouraged to apply.
