Your new local council
We are seeking an experienced Civil Infrastructure Projects Manager to join a high-performing capital delivery team, managing a diverse portfolio of impactful infrastructure projects across the community. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, working across design, procurement, and construction phases on a range of civil works.

Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a portfolio exceeding $6M in civil infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to required standards.You will work closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors, playing a key role in both strategic planning and on-the-ground delivery.
Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of civil infrastructure projects
  • Oversee design development, tendering, and procurement processes.
  • Coordinate and manage consultants, contractors, and site activities.
  • Administer contracts and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Provide on-site supervision and stakeholder engagement
  • Deliver projects across roads, drainage, bridges, pathways, and related infrastructure.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A degree in Civil Engineering and/or Project Management.
  • 10+ years experience delivering civil infrastructure projects.

Demonstrated experience in:

  • Civil design development and review.
  • Construction and contractor management.
  • Tendering, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Experience working within local government or similar environments (highly regarded).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
