Protech is recruiting for new roadworks and subdivision projects across the South Brisbane area. We have short and long-term projects available.
Seeking skilled civil labourers & Machine Operators, with a strong focus on Excavator and Roller Operators, for multiple civil construction projects across South Brisbane. Operators with additional experience on Loaders, Moxy Trucks, Watercarts, Graders, and Dozers are strongly encouraged to apply.
Previous experience in civil construction or related industries is preferred. Candidates with additional machine operating or high-risk tickets will be highly regarded.
About the Role
✔Immediate starts available
✔ Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
✔ Pay: $38.50 – $46.00+ per hour (based on experience)
✔ Penalties after 7.6 hours + daily travel & meal allowance
✔ Civil construction labourers with road or subdivision experience highly regarded
✔ Opportunity to work across major road, subdivision, and infrastructure projects
Key Responsibilities
- Site clean-up and general labouring
- Spotting heavy machinery
- Assisting drainage crews, concreting, spreading gravel, and more
- Operate heavy machinary safely and efficiently on active civil worksite (RII Required)
- Carry out daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance
- Setting up and dismantling on-site equipment
- Installing safety signage and temporary fencing
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Tickets & Experience Required
- Construction White Card
- Relevant RII Tickets
- Driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Previous civil or construction experience preferred
- Additional RII tickets highly regarded
