We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Cleaner / Housekeeping Attendant to join our team in Australia. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating clean, tidy, and welcoming environments for residential and/or commercial properties. Whether full-time, part-time, or casual, you will play an essential role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of homes, apartments, offices, or designated facilities according to set checklists and client requirements.
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and polishing floors, furniture, and surfaces.
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, kitchens, toilets, and high-touch areas to maintain excellent hygiene standards.
- Changing bed linen, making beds, and managing laundry where required.
- Emptying bins, removing rubbish, and ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors (internal).
- Replenishing cleaning supplies and reporting any low stock or maintenance issues.
- Handling specialist cleaning tasks such as carpet spotting, oven cleaning, or fridge cleaning when assigned.
- Following all Work Health and Safety (WHS) procedures and using personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
- Maintaining respectful and professional communication with clients and team members.
- Securing properties after cleaning and ensuring all equipment is stored properly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or domestic services is preferred but not essential (full training provided).
- High attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle several hours of active cleaning.
- Reliable transport to various job sites (driver’s licence and own vehicle advantageous).
- Excellent time management and punctuality.
- Right to work in Australia.
- Positive attitude, trustworthiness, and respect for client privacy and property.
- Availability for early mornings, weekends, or flexible hours as needed.
