Stream Healthcare is partnering with a growing Behaviour Support provider in Perth seeking an experienced Proficient BSP to join their team in a senior clinical capacity.

This opportunity will suit an experienced practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred Positive Behaviour Support and is looking to take on greater responsibility within a growing service. You will have the opportunity to provide leadership, supervision and mentoring to other practitioners, while continuing to maintain involvement in clinical work.

Whether you're already supervising Behaviour Support Practitioners or you're a highly experienced Proficient BSP ready to step into a leadership-focused position, this role offers genuine career progression and excellent earning potential.

The Role

As a senior member of the Behaviour Support team, you will:

  • Develop and implement proactive, person-centred Behaviour Support Plans
  • Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments and develop evidence-based, data-driven strategies
  • Ensure the safe, ethical and compliant use of restrictive practices in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements
  • Work collaboratively with participants, families, carers, support workers and multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide training and guidance to support workers and other stakeholders to effectively implement Behaviour Support Plans
  • Review and refine Behaviour Support Plans to meet participants' changing needs
  • Provide clinical guidance, mentoring and supervision to a growing team of Behaviour Support Practitioners
  • Contribute to the continued growth and development of the Behaviour Support service

About You
We are keen to speak with passionate and experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners who bring strong clinical skills and a genuine interest in supporting others.

You will ideally have:

  • Proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner status or above with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
  • Strong experience developing Behaviour Support Plans and conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments
  • Knowledge and experience working with restrictive practices and NDIS compliance requirements
  • Experience supervising, mentoring or providing clinical support to other Behaviour Support Practitioners, or a demonstrated desire and capability to step into a leadership role
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to clinical practice
  • Relevant qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Education or Allied Health
  • Current Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain these
