Your new company
We are seeking apassionate and experienced Coach & Peer Facilitator to join acommunity-focused organisation. This rewarding role combines one-on-one coaching, peer groupfacilitation, and community engagement to empower carers, build resilience, andstrengthen support networks. Working within asupportive team environment, you will provide practical guidance, facilitatemeaningful conversations, and help carers identify and achieve personal goalswhile connecting them with appropriate supports and services.

Your new role

  • Deliver individual coaching sessions to carers, supporting them to build resilience and work towards personal goals.
  • Facilitate peer support groups that create safe and supportive environments for carers to connect, learn and share experiences.
  • Guide reflective discussions and supportive conversations that encourage personal grown and wellbeing.
  • Promote available support services and assist carers in accessing relevant community resources.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and community networks.
  • Accurately record client information and maintain service documentation.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive and psychologically safe workplace culture

What you'll need to succeed
Experience facilitating groups, workshops, training sessions or stakeholder engagement activities. A qualification in Community Services, Social Sciences, Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline. Minimum three years' experience within community services, health, human services or a similar client-focused environment. Knowledge of coaching methodologies and strengths-based approaches. Experience providing direct support to clients within community, health, disability or wellbeing services. Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, culturally diverse communities and LGBTIQA+ individuals. Sound digital literacy including Microsoft Office and client management systems.Current C Class Driver's Licence and ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
