Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Lawyer to join their Darwin office. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside highly regarded legal professionals while advising a diverse client base that spans businesses, investors, government entities, and private clients across the Northern Territory.
As a key member of the team, you will provide practical, commercial legal advice on a broad range of matters while building strong client relationships and contributing to the firm's continued success.
The OpportunityYou will work across a variety of commercial matters, including:
- Commercial contracts and agreements
- Business sales and acquisitions
- Corporate and business structuring
- Property and development transactions
- Leasing and commercial property matters
- Due diligence and transactional support
- General commercial advisory work
- Client relationship management and business development
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:
- Admission as a legal practitioner in Australia
- Experience practicing in commercial law (ideally 2+ years PAE, although all suitable applicants will be considered)
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills
- A commercial mindset with a practical approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- The ability to manage matters independently while collaborating effectively within a team
