Overview
An opportunity is available for an experienced Commissioning Lead to support a major water recycling project within the resources sector as it moves into detailed design.
The project involves the development of water recycling infrastructure supporting an operating mining environment. The Commissioning Lead will ensure commissioning, startup, completions and handover requirements are incorporated into the project from detailed design through to execution.
The Role
- Develop the commissioning, startup, completions and handover strategy.
- Provide commissioning input throughout detailed design.
- Develop commissioning plans, schedules, estimates and resource requirements.
- Establish completions, turnover and handover processes.
- Work across water/process infrastructure, mechanical, electrical, controls and associated systems.
- Participate in design, constructability, risk and safety reviews.
- Coordinate Engineering, Construction, Operations, Maintenance and vendors.
- Identify commissioning risks, interfaces and dependencies.
- Support operational readiness and transition through startup and handover.
About You
- Experienced Commissioning Lead / Manager from mining, minerals processing, water or heavy industry.
- Water infrastructure, water treatment or process plant commissioning experience highly regarded.
- Experience developing commissioning strategies during design and project development.
- Strong understanding of completions, commissioning, startup and operational handover.
- Able to develop schedules, estimates and commissioning resource plans.
- Strong multidisciplinary and stakeholder management experience.
- Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
