Job Description
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies to support organisational objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Organise and facilitate community consultations, workshops, and events.
- Prepare and deliver clear and engaging communication materials.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of engagement initiatives.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key community groups and stakeholders.
- Provide advice and support on best practices for community engagement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Community Engagement Advisor should have:
- Experience in community engagement or related roles within the public sector or industrial/manufacturing industry.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to plan and execute engagement initiatives.
- Knowledge of relevant policies and frameworks for community engagement.
- Proficiency in preparing reports and communication materials.
- A collaborative approach to working with diverse groups and teams.
- Valid Victorian drivers Licence
