Your new role
- Prepare complex individual, company, partnership, and trust tax returns and financial statements
- Review compliance workpapers and assist with maintaining high-quality client outcomes
- Conduct taxation research and provide support on a range of tax matters
- Peer review accountants' work and contribute to maintaining compliance standards
- Liaise with clients and support the delivery of professional taxation and accounting services
- Continue developing your technical knowledge across taxation, compliance, and accounting legislation
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline
- CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion of professional membership
- 510 years' experience within public practice, accounting or taxation
- Strong knowledge of taxation legislation, accounting standards, and compliance requirements
- Experience using Xero, Handisoft, and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing deadlines
