The Company
Established over 35 years ago our client is an accredited, award winning building contractor who has delivered individual projects in excess of $200m. Working across residential, commercial, aged care, industrial, and education, they focus on building collaborative teams with their employees and sub contractors. This focus has seen them deliver projects successfully for their clients on time and within budget.
The Role
They are seeking to employ a new Construction Manager for the NSW operations. You will have the following skills and experience to be successful in this role.
- 10 plus years construction experience
- Provide construction methodology and advice
- Tier 1 or 2 experience is a must.
- Strong financial acumen across operational and project cost
- Thorough understanding of IR and OHS
- Experience on commercial based building projects in excess of $50m
- Design management experience/understanding
- Ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders
- Able to manage project managers and broader team
- Commercially astute and client focused
- Strong ability to foresee and manage risk
- Above average communications skills both verbal and written
- Motivated and driven along with strong presentation skills
