Location: Victoria Park and Perth WA
Salary : $79K to $85K
Kayumanis Modern Indonesian and Dapur Van Java are authentic Indonesian restaurants passionate about delivering rich flavor of Indonesia cuisine to our customers. We are currently looking for skilled Chef and Cook to join our growing team.
- Chef – Full time position
Key duties:
- Plan and create authentic Indonesia menus
- Oversee food preparation and kitchen operations
- Ensure food is cooked and presented to high standards
- Manage inventory, stock ordering and cost control
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure compliance with food and safety hygiene standard
Qualification/skills
- Have trade qualification AQF Diploma in hospitality management or equivalent
- At least 1 year work experience in commercial kitchen
- Strong knowledge of Indonesia cuisine (especially Javanese and Balinese)
- Proven leadership and kitchen management skills
- Excellent time management and organization
- Cook – Full time position
Key duties:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Indonesian dishes
- Follow recipes and presentations standard set by chef
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
- Assist with food preparation, plating and stock rotation
- Support Chef in daily kitchen tasks as required
Qualification/Skills
- Have trade qualification AQF Certificate IV in Kitchen Management/Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- At least 1 year work experience in Commercial Kitchen
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team
- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety practices
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
