About the Role   

The Coordinator is a key leadership role that blends classroom practice with strategic oversight of teaching and learning across the school, with a strong focus on leading K–2 literacy and numeracy. The position supports effective curriculum implementation by guiding teachers in planning, assessment, and instructional practice, while deepening staff understanding of High Impact Teaching strategies that drive student growth. It promotes a consistent, evidence‑informed approach to pedagogy and oversees essential operational areas, including student behaviour processes. Working closely with school leaders and teaching teams, the Coordinator helps achieve the school’s Annual Improvement Plan by fostering collaboration, professional learning, and excellence. The desired applicant will strengthen early‑years learning by ensuring faith oxygenates every classroom and all students achieve above expected growth in literacy and numeracy.

Qualifications and Eligibility

  • Bachelor of Teaching/Education or Master of Teaching
  • NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) registration
  • NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation
  • Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
