About the Opportunity

We are seeking Experienced Crane Operators (CO) to join our Processing Maintenance Team at the Wodgina Lithium Processing Plant. These roles are Full Time positions and can allow you to grow your skill set with on-site training and the opportunity to develop your career on the tools and as a leader.

What you will be doing:

Reporting through to the Supervisor, some of your duties will include:

  • Ensure safety protocols and procedures are strictly adhered to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Complete daily site crane inspections prior to start-up and record all findings
  • Follow hand signals, radio communication, or written instructions to coordinate with riggers and site supervisors
  • Observe all rigging techniques prior to performing any lift to ensure the lifting is rigged correctly and has the capacity to perform the lift safely.
  • Assess the weight of all loads and ensure they are within crane capacity
  • Crane operation installing steel structures, heavy mechanical equipment and construction or camp accommodation buildings
  • Report any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions immediately.

  • Flexible and versatile attitude
  • Experience operating Cranes, forklifts, telehandlers, loaders, and bobcats (Desirable)

Tickets & Licenses Required:

  • Current Australian Driver's License 
  • HRWL – CO, DG & RB
  • Construction Induction Card 
  • Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Testing (desirable)
  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
  • Ability to meet pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening requirements.

Minimum Requirements for Internal Applicants

  • Have completed at least 12 months’ continuous service in your current role.
  • Have a clear disciplinary and conduct record, with no current or recent safety incidents.
  • Consistently demonstrate compliance with safety, operational procedures and Safe & Respectful behaviours.
