Job Description
Working within a dynamic Credit & Risk function, you'll assess, structure and manage commercial credit exposures while contributing to business growth and sound risk management outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing and underwriting commercial credit applications
- Analysing financial statements, cash flow and customer performance
- Preparing detailed credit submissions, risk assessments and recommendations
- Managing dealer and customer relationships within a commercial finance environment
- Monitoring borrower performance and establishing appropriate credit limits
- Supporting collections and risk mitigation strategies where required
- Preparing and negotiating credit documentation and lending agreements
- Identifying opportunities to support new and existing business growth
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives, including digital and automation solutions
- Producing portfolio insights, reporting and risk trend analysis
- Supporting and collaborating with team members across the broader credit function
The Successful Applicant
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
- Experience in credit analysis, underwriting, lending, banking, risk assessment or financial analysis
- Strong ability to interpret financial information and assess risk
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- A proactive, self-motivated and accountable approach
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to support team success
- Interest in technology, process improvement and evolving ways of working
