Internal Sales Team Leader
$80,000 + Super | Full-Time | Perth
An established and growing manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Internal Sales Team Leader to join their Perth team.
This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing the day-to-day operations of a small Internal Sales team. You'll be responsible for supporting the team, maintaining strong customer service standards and ensuring orders are processed efficiently and accurately.
The Role
Reporting into the Sales function, you will:
- Lead and support the Internal Sales team
- Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching and training to team members
- Oversee the processing of sales orders and back orders
- Ensure customer enquiries and requirements are handled promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer orders are delivered efficiently
- Monitor workflow and identify opportunities to improve processes and service levels
- Assist with the day-to-day management of the WA sales operation
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
About You
We're looking for someone with previous experience in an Internal Sales, Customer Service or Sales Support leadership role who enjoys being hands-on and working closely with a team.
You'll ideally bring:
- Previous experience leading a customer service or sales team
- Strong internal sales and customer service experience
- Previous experience in CRM systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A proactive approach to problem solving
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine focus on delivering a high level of customer service
