DATA CENTRE ELECTRICIANS/TRADE ASSISTANTS
- Seeking electrical trade assistants with data centre experience.
- Casual roles available with day shifts from Monday to Friday.
- Responsibilities include installation and support of communications infrastructure.
Protech is looking for electrical TA’s with data centre experience for work in the western suburbs of Melbourne.
About the role:
– Casual roles starting ASAP
– Day shifts working Monday to Friday, possible Saturdays
– $42ph-$46ph + OT + super + penalties + travel
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in communications, electrical, data cabling, or similar technical environments is essential for the role
- Install and support communications infrastructure in data centres
- Read and interpret project drawings and documentation
- Fibre and copper cable installations and terminations
- Work collaboratively with project teams
- Follow all site safety procedures and industry standards
You will have:
- Experience working within a data centre will be preferred
- Strong understanding of data cabling standards and industry practices
- White Card (essential)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to quality and safety
- Ability to work independently and within a team
